NHM MP CHO Selection Process

• Certificate in Community Health (CCH) Training: This is a 6-month training program for candidates who have completed B.Sc. Nursing, Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing, GNM, or BAMS. Selection is based on an online entrance exam. After successful completion of the training, candidates are appointed as CHOs.
• Direct Recruitment: This route is for candidates who already have a B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree with an integrated CCH course. They are selected through an online written test and can be directly appointed as CHOs.

The online written test for both routes consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking.

• Education: For CCH training, a degree in B.Sc. (Nursing), Post-Basic B.Sc. (Nursing), GNM, or BAMS is required. For direct recruitment, a B.Sc. (Nursing) with integrated CCH is mandatory.
