RPF SI Selection Process & Eligibility

  • Phase I: Computer Based Test (CBT): An online objective test with 120 questions covering Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. The marks from this test are used for shortlisting for the next phase.
  • Phase II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who clear the CBT undergo physical tests, including a 1600/800 meters run, long jump, and high jump, along with height and chest measurements.
  • Phase III: Document Verification (DV): Candidates who qualify the physical tests are called for verification of their original educational and category certificates.

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
  • Age Limit: Typically 20 to 28 years, with age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government regulations.
