RBI Assistant Selection Process

  • Main Examination: Candidates who qualify the prelims appear for the main exam. This online objective test has 200 questions covering Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. Marks from this stage are considered for the final selection.
  • Language Proficiency Test (LPT): The final stage is a qualifying test to assess the candidate's proficiency in the official/local language of the concerned state.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Age Limit: Generally between 20 and 28 years, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.

  2. Find the Recruitment Link: Look for the advertisement for the "Recruitment for the post of Assistant" and click on the link to apply online.
  3. New Registration: Click on "Click here for New Registration" and provide your name, contact details, and email address. A provisional registration number and password will be generated.
  4. Fill the Application Form: Log in and carefully fill in your personal, educational, and other details in the online application form.
  5. Upload Documents: Upload your scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the notification.
