The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC Stenographer Examination every year to recruit candidates for Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C Non-Gazetted) roles across various ministries, departments, and organizations under the Government of India. Salary
For Stenographer Grade C: Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300–Rs. 34,800 (Pay Band 2), Grade Pay: Rs. 4,200 or Rs. 4,600, Basic Pay: Starts at approximately Rs. 35,400. In-Hand Salary: Around Rs. 50,682–Rs. 60,000 per month. For Stenographer Grade D: Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200–Rs. 20,200 (Pay Band 1), Grade Pay: Rs. 2,400, Basic Pay: Starts at approximately Rs. 25,500. In-Hand Salary: Around Rs. 36,000– Rs. 43,500 per month.
