The Preliminary Examination of Combined Post Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CPGLRE), 2025 has been announced for 10th May 2026. The exam will be conducted in One Sitting through OMR mode in 13 undivided districts across the state.

Selection Process

There will be three stages to select Physical Education Instructors, Art Education Instructor and Teachers in various subjects.

Stage I: Preliminary Examination (150 Marks): Information about question type, exam mode, duration, and number of questions will be updated on the OSSC website. Candidates six times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on their marks.

Stage II: Main Written Examination (200 marks): Exam may be conducted in OMR mode or Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode

Negative marking applies for wrong answers:

1/4th of marks for 4-option questions 1/3rd of marks for 3-option questions

Stage III: Certificate Verification (CV): Candidates two times the number of vacancies (post-wise and category-wise) will be shortlisted for CV based on Main Exam scores.
