This study focuses on how high-nutrient "superfood" crops survive and grow when exposed to new types of environmental pollution in Southern Rajasthan. It explores the biological changes these plants undergo to resist stress from chemicals and toxins in the soil and water. The goal is to use biotechnology to ensure food security and crop health in changing environmental conditions. This project is funded by DST, Government of Rajasthan.

Eligibility
M.Sc. in Botany/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Environmental Science/Life Sciences or related disciplines with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH). B.Sc. with Botany or Life Sciences is essential. Desirable: Experience in Plant Tissue Culture/Molecular Biology/Biochemical Analysis/Advance Microscopy or Environmental Toxicology; working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation; research publications.
