Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), New Delhi has invited online applications for the award of 80 Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in historical studies (Ancient/ Medieval/ Modern India) on contractual basis. Eligible candidates must apply online only through the ICHR portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.
➢ Step 1: Visit the official application portal ichrreg.com and register using valid email ID and mobile number.
➢ Step 2: Fill the online application form carefully with personal, educational, Ph.D. registration details and choose specialization (Ancient/Medieval/Modern India).
➢ Step 3: Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, educational certificates, Ph.D. registration proof and other required documents.
➢ Step 4: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form.
➢ Step 5: Take a printout of the filled application form and send the hard copy (with all enclosures) so as to reach ICHR on or before 17 April 2026.
