The IIT Madras team is also working on expanding the device's language capabilities and incorporating features for dialectal nuances. India's First AI-Powered Electric Vehicle Charging Network Launched

On February 15, 2026, 'ElectriCharge AI', India's first Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, was launched in New Delhi. Developed by 'GreenVolt Energy' in partnership with the Delhi government, the network aims to revolutionize EV charging by optimizing station placement, predicting demand, and ensuring efficient energy distribution. The AI platform analyzes traffic patterns, EV adoption rates, and energy grid load to identify optimal locations for new charging stations and manage the existing ones.
