UPPCS Mains Essay Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in India. Specific posts like Assistant Conservator of Forest require a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering subjects. No minimum percentage is required, but candidates must possess the degree by the last date of application.
The age limit is 21 to 40 years as of July 1st of the recruitment year.
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- Main Examination (Written Essay & Descriptive)
- Personal Interview (Viva-Voce)
- SC/ST/OBC/Skilled Players/State Govt Employees: 5 years
- PwBD: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus length of service
