North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) is a Miniratna Category-I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. Established in 1976, the corporation is headquartered in Shillong, Meghalaya. Its primary mandate is to plan, investigate, design, construct, and operate power projects in the North Eastern region of India. NEEPCO plays a crucial role in harnessing the hydro and thermal power potential of the region to ensure energy security and regional development.
