The salary structure for a KVS PGT is based on the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations. The starting salary at the entry scale corresponds to Level 8 (Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100). With experience and promotion, PGTs move to the Senior Scale (Level 10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500) and subsequently to the Selection Scale (Level 11: Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700).
