AFCAT SSB Interview Eligibility Criteria 2026

Flying Branch: Minimum 50% marks in Math and Physics at 10+2 level and Graduation with 60% marks in any discipline or BE/B.Tech.

Ground Duty (Tech): 10+2 with 60% in Math and Physics and a four-year degree in Engineering/Technology.

Ground Duty (Non-Tech): Graduation with 60% marks or Post-Graduation with 50% marks depending on the specific branch requirements.

The age limit for Flying Branch is 20 to 24 years, and for Ground Duty branches, it is 20 to 26 years as of the official crucial date mentioned in the notification.

1. AFCAT Online Examination (Computer Based).
2. Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) for Technical candidates.
3. AFSB Testing (Stage I: OIR and PPDT).
4. AFSB Testing (Stage II: Psychological Test, Group Tasks, and Interview).
5. Medical Examination (Air Force Central Medical Establishment/Institute of Aerospace Medicine).
6. All India Merit List (AIML) preparation.

• Upper age limit for candidates holding valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by DGCA is relaxable up to 26 years.
• No specific category-wise (SC/ST/OBC) age relaxation is applicable for AFCAT entry as per the official recruitment policy.
