AFCAT Online Test Eligibility Criteria 2026

Flying Branch: Graduation (3 years) with minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or BE/B Tech (4 years) degree.

Ground Duty (Technical): Minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year degree in Engineering/Technology.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation with 60% marks or Post-Graduation with 50% marks depending on the specific sub-branch.

For the Flying Branch, the age limit is 20 to 24 years as of the date of commencement of the course. For Ground Duty branches, the age limit is 20 to 26 years.

1. AFCAT Online Computer Based Test (CBT).
2. Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) for Technical candidates.
3. AFSB Testing (Officer Intelligence Rating, PPDT, Group Discussion, Psychological Test).
4. Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) for Flying Branch only.
5. Medical Examination.
6. All India Merit List based on written and AFSB marks.

• No age relaxation is provided for any category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as per the official AFCAT notification.
• Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued by DGCA is relaxable up to 26 years.
