Overview
The Department of Pharmaceuticals under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has announced an opening for contractual positions to support the implementation of the Bio-pharma SHAKTI Scheme. A total of 5 vacancies are available for Technical Consultant Grade 1 and Grade 2 roles within the Project Management Unit. Selected individuals will be responsible for providing crucial technical, operational, and administrative support to advance domestic biopharmaceutical manufacturing and research initiatives based in New Delhi.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting component-wise Request for Applications (RFAs) and managing publication processes after securing approvals.
- Conduct thorough desk reviews of incoming proposals and prepare detailed technical appraisal notes for committee evaluations.
- Evaluate scientific merit, feasibility, technological novelty, and development risks associated with submitted proposals.
- Monitor milestone progressions, review periodic progress reports, and verify expenditure rationalization for funded projects.
- Coordinate site visits, virtual reviews, and third-party validations to ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain comprehensive decision audit trails, develop standard operating procedures, and assist in reviewing project extensions.
