CUJ Faculty Recruitment Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with 55% marks and a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. A valid NET (National Eligibility Test) score or SET/SLET is mandatory for Assistant Professor posts unless exempted under UGC Regulations 2018.

The maximum age limit for Assistant Professor positions is governed by the UGC and University guidelines, typically capped at 65 years for superannuation, though specific direct recruitment age limits are defined in the individual advertisement.

1. Screening of applications based on API (Academic Performance Indicator) scores.
2. Shortlisting of candidates for interview.
3. Personal Interview/Presentation before the Selection Committee.
4. Document Verification.
5. Final Appointment based on merit list.
