SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam Eligibility Criteria
Updated 2026Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Hindi/English with the other language as a compulsory subject at the degree level. Alternatively, a Master's degree in any subject with Hindi and English as elective subjects at the degree level is required. A recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa is mandatory.
The age limit for the SSC JHT post is 18 to 30 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the official notification.

- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years after deduction of military service from actual age
