Qualifications vary by post:
- LDC: 12th pass from a recognized board + English typing speed of 35 wpm on computer.
- MTS/HKS/Mess Staff: Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
- Cook: Matriculation with a certificate or diploma in catering.
The age limit for candidates is 18 to 25 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.
- Scrutiny of applications.
- Issue of Call Letter to shortlisted candidates.
- Written Examination (General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, General English, General Awareness).
- Skill/Practical/Physical Test (Post-specific).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- Final Merit List preparation based on written test marks.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of military service + 3 years
