UPSC Civil Services Exam Mains GS 4 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. There is no specific subject requirement for the GS Paper IV exam; however, a deep understanding of Ethics and Human Interface is essential.
The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 32 years as of August 1st of the year of the examination.
- Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Objective)
- Civil Services Mains Examination (Descriptive - including GS Paper IV)
- Personality Test (Interview)
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
