The primary objective of GSDP is to create a skilled workforce for green jobs, specifically in the environment, forest, and wildlife sectors, to address the skill gaps in these areas.

The Green Skill Development Programme (GSDP) is an initiative of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) to skill youth in environment, forest, and wildlife sectors.

One of the key exclusion criteria for the PM-KISAN scheme is "All persons who paid Income Tax in the last assessment year."
