Selection Process

The selection process is a multi-stage procedure starting with shortlisting based on the PET-2025 normalized score. Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Main Written Examination consisting of 100 objective-type questions. Those who qualify the written test must undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which involves a long-distance walk/run with weight. Finally, candidates must pass a medical examination conducted by a government medical board and complete the document verification process.

Exam Pattern

The written examination comprises 100 questions for 100 marks with a duration of 120 minutes. The paper includes sections on Forest & Environment (50 marks), Mathematics & Biology (15 marks), Computer & IT (15 marks), and UP General Knowledge (20 marks). A negative marking of 0.25 is applicable for each incorrect answer.
