Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow, is expected to release a major recruitment notification for more than 81,000 posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police Department under the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Selection Process

  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT)
    Objective type offline/online written examination consisting of questions from General Knowledge & General Awareness, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient and Reasoning Ability. Qualifying marks and negative marking will be as per detailed notification.
  • Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
    Qualifying in nature. Candidates have to qualify race (Male: 4.8 km in 25 minutes | Female: 2.4 km in 14 minutes) and height/chest measurement as per category and post-wise standards.
  • Stage 3: Document Verification
    Verification of all original documents, category certificates, educational certificates and other required documents.
  • Stage 4: Medical Examination
    Final medical fitness test conducted by the Medical Board as per UP Police medical standards.
