Selection Process

The selection process consists of a written objective-type examination, which may be conducted in OMR or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode. The exam comprises two papers: Paper-I (General Studies & General Abilities) and Paper-II (Concerned Subject). Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks (40% for OC, 35% for BC, 30% for SC/ST/PH) to be considered for the final merit list. Following the written test, successful candidates will undergo certificate verification and a medical fitness assessment.

Exam Pattern

The examination carries a total of 450 marks. Paper-I consists of 150 questions (150 marks) covering General Studies. Paper-II is divided into Part A and Part B, each containing 75 questions (150 marks each), focusing on the concerned subject and pedagogy. The duration for each paper is 150 minutes.
