Selection Process

The selection process comprises an Online Written Test and an Interview. The written test includes an Objective paper (50 marks) and a Descriptive paper (50 marks). The Objective test covers Reasoning, English, and Professional Knowledge. Only Professional Knowledge marks count toward merit. The Descriptive test evaluates legal drafting and interpretation skills. Candidates qualifying in the written test are shortlisted for an interview. The final merit list is prepared with a 70:30 weightage for the written test and interview respectively.

Objective Test: 50 marks (Professional Knowledge counted for merit). Descriptive Test: 50 marks (5 questions out of 8). Total duration: 45 minutes for objective and 45 minutes for descriptive.
