Selection Process

Selection Stages

The selection process is designed to evaluate candidates based on their aptitude and domain knowledge. All applicants must appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT) known as Paper I, which assesses general awareness, reasoning, mathematics, language proficiency, and computer skills.

Selected candidates for specific administrative and technical roles will proceed to Paper II, which focuses on domain-specific knowledge. A qualifying skill test is mandatory for stenography and typing-related posts to ensure operational proficiency.

For Group A positions, a final interview or personality test is conducted. The final merit list is prepared by combining the scores from the written examination (70% weightage) and the interview (30% weightage).

Exam Pattern

Paper I consists of 150 MCQs (300 marks) covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Math, Language, and Computer skills. Paper II is a 100-mark domain-specific test. Negative marking of 0.25 applies.
