Selection Process

The selection process is structured to ensure merit-based recruitment. All candidates must first appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT) known as Paper I, which evaluates general awareness, reasoning, mathematics, language proficiency, and computer skills. For selected posts, a domain-specific Paper II is conducted to assess technical knowledge. A qualifying skill test is mandatory for stenography and clerical roles to verify typing and shorthand proficiency. For Group A posts, a final interview/personality test is conducted, with the final merit list calculated using a 70:30 weightage ratio between the written exam and the interview.

Exam Pattern

Paper I consists of 150 MCQs (300 marks) covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Math, Language, and Computer Awareness. Paper II consists of 50 MCQs (100 marks) on domain-specific subjects. Negative marking of 1/4th mark applies to both papers.
