Finally, shortlisted candidates are invited for a 30-mark Personality Test conducted at the HPPSC office in Shimla. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the SAT and the Personality Test.

Exam Pattern

Paper-I is a 1-hour objective screening test worth 100 marks, covering HP GK (30), National/International Affairs (30), Hindi (20), and English (20). Paper-II is a 3-hour descriptive Subject Aptitude Test worth 120 marks. Negative marking of 0.25 applies to objective questions.
