Selection Process

The selection process is conducted in three distinct stages. First, candidates undergo a Paper-I Screening Test, which is a qualifying objective-type examination covering General Knowledge and language proficiency. Second, candidates must appear for the Paper-II Subject Aptitude Test (SAT), a descriptive examination focused on the specific subject of application. Finally, shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personality Test held at the HPPSC office in Shimla. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined scores of the SAT and the Personality Test.

Exam Pattern
