Selection Process

The selection process consists of three distinct stages. First, an online Computer Based Test (CBT) worth 100 marks, covering General Knowledge and English Composition, serves as the primary merit-ranking tool. Candidates must secure at least 33% in each subject and 40% in aggregate to qualify. Second, a mandatory Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is conducted, which is purely qualifying in nature and includes spreadsheet and typing assessments. Finally, successful candidates undergo a verification of original testimonials and an interaction session to confirm their suitability for the role.

Exam Pattern

The written examination is a 2-hour objective and subjective test. It includes 50 marks for General Knowledge (MCQs) and 50 marks for English Composition (20 marks for MCQs and 30 marks for descriptive tasks like essays, letters, precis, and translation). Negative marking of 0.25 applies to incorrect objective answers.
