Project Name: Traditional Leaders in Vth Schedule Areas and their Impact on Rural Local Bodies

This study examines how tribal chiefs and traditional community heads influence modern village governments in Vth Schedule regions. It investigates the relationship between age-old tribal leadership and elected local bodies to see how they work together for rural development. The goal is to understand how traditional authority impacts governance and local decision-making.

Duration: Six months (Initial appointment for one month, extendable only for four months based on project requirement and performance)

Eligibility
  • Research Assistant (02 Post) : Master Degree with at least 55% marks in Sociology/Anthropology/Social Work/Tribal Studies/Political Science/History/Ancient Indian History Culture and Archeology/Psychology/Economics (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
  • Desirable: Experience in projects/research with knowledge of SPSS.
  • Field Investigator (10 Posts) : Master Degree with at least 55% marks in Sociology/Anthropology/Social Work/Tribal Studies/Political Science/History/Ancient Indian History Culture and Archeology/Psychology/Economics (5% relaxation for SC/ST).
  • Desirable: Experience in projects/research with knowledge of SPSS.
