WBSSC Special Educator Exam Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Degree/Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Valid RCI Registration Certificate.
- Proficiency in the language of instruction (Bengali/English/Nepali).
Candidates must be between the minimum age of 18 years and the maximum age of 40 years as of the first day of January of the recruitment year.

- Main Written Examination (OMR-based)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (A/B): 3 years
- PwBD: 8 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per State Govt. norms
