Mandatory qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or B.T.C. / D.El.Ed. qualification.
- Qualifying score in UPTET or CTET (Primary/Upper Primary Level).
Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2026.

- Main Examination
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per UP Government norms
