Candidates must possess Intermediate/Senior Secondary education with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). A valid TS-TET (Paper-I) qualification is mandatory for all applicants.
The minimum age for the SGT post is 18 years, and the maximum age is 46 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the notification.

- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years + length of service
