- Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree with 55% marks and NET/Ph.D. as per UGC norms.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree with 8 years of teaching experience and publications.
- Professor: Ph.D. degree with 10 years of experience and research credentials.
The upper age limit is governed by the Odisha Higher Education Department recruitment rules, typically capped at 45 years for Assistant Professors, subject to relaxation for reserved categories.
- Screening of applications based on API scores/academic credentials.
- Shortlisting of candidates for interview.
- Personal Interview/Viva-voce by the Selection Committee.

- Final Merit List preparation based on interview performance.
