OPSC Lecturer (General Recruitment 2026) Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% marks is provided for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Candidates must also have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or possess a Ph.D. degree as per the UGC Regulations.
Candidates must be between 21 and 38 years of age as of the first day of January of the recruitment year.
- Written Examination (Objective Type).
- Interview/Viva-Voce Test.
- Document Verification.
- SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years.
- PwBD (having permanent disability of 40% or more): Up to 10 years.
