Odisha Junior Teacher Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- For Class I-V: Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- For Class VI-VIII: Graduation and 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
- Mandatory: Must have passed Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) Paper-I or Paper-II as applicable.
- Language: Must have passed Odia as a language subject up to Class X.
Candidates must be between 18 and 38 years of age as of the first day of January of the recruitment year.
- Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Document Verification (DV).
- Publication of Final Merit List based on CBT scores.
- SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years relaxation.
- PwD candidates: 10 years relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.
