MPTET Varg 1 Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

The educational qualification criteria for MPTET Varg 1 are strictly enforced to ensure a high standard of teaching. Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible:

• General Subjects: Candidates must hold a Second Class Master’s Degree or a Post Graduation Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university. Additionally, a B.Ed or its equivalent professional teaching degree is mandatory for all applicants.
• Sanskrit Language: For the Sanskrit teaching post, candidates are required to have an Acharya Degree in the second class, obtained from a recognized university in the fields of Sanskrit Literature or Sanskrit Grammar. A B.Ed degree is also mandatory for these applicants.
• Verification: Degrees obtained from institutions not recognized by the relevant university or regulatory bodies may not be accepted.
