Academic Degree: Possession of a Master's degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University or Institution. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in this degree to be considered eligible.
Professional Certification: Completion of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree as a mandatory professional qualification. This degree must also be completed with at least 50% marks.
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET): Candidates are required to have successfully passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). This test must be one conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, or any other government-authorized agency.
Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in teaching through the mediums of Hindi and English is essential.

Meeting these criteria is mandatory, and verification will occur during the document verification stage. Any candidate failing to produce documentation showing their Master's, B.Ed, and TET qualifications will be disqualified from the selection process. Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Eligible for specific age relaxations.
Departmental Candidates (if any): Provided relaxation for those already in service in accordance with the department’s recruitment policies.
