BPSC Assistant Professor Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from an Indian University. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) accredited by the UGC. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations are exempted from the NET/SLET requirement.

The minimum age for recruitment is 21 years, while the maximum age limit is determined by the state government service rules as specified in the official advertisement.

4. Final Merit List preparation based on cumulative score.
