Bihar Elementary Teacher Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
- Class 1-5: Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Class 6-8: Graduation with 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed or 2-year D.El.Ed.
- Mandatory: Qualifying CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I.
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 37 years for General category candidates as of the notification's cutoff date.
- Preliminary Written Examination (Objective Type).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- Final Merit List Preparation.
- OBC/BC (Male/Female): 3 Years
- General (Female): 3 Years
- SC/ST (Male/Female): 5 Years
- PwBD Candidates: 10 Years
