- General Age Limit: For most posts, the age of the candidate must be between 21 and 42 years as of 1st July 2023.
- Specific Post Age Limit: For the posts of Foreman Asset and Office Assistant-III (Uttarakhand Power Transmission Commission Limited), the age requirement is 18 to 42 years as of 1st July 2023.
- Age Relaxation: Age relaxations are applicable to SC/ST candidates of Uttarakhand state in accordance with government rules.
- Written Examination: An OMR-based test that assesses the candidates on General Hindi, General Knowledge, and Uttarakhand-specific content.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Applicable specifically to the Regional Youth Welfare and Provincial Guard Welfare Officer posts. This test is mandatory for both male and female candidates.
- Document Verification: A mandatory stage where all candidates must present original proofs of their educational qualifications, age, and caste/residency claims to finalize their selection.
