Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Preference is given to candidates with additional qualifications in relevant fields like Law or Social Work for specific posts.

- OBC/BCM/MBC/DC: Up to 37 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 55 years.
- PwBD: 10 years additional relaxation over the prescribed category limit.
