JKSSB Inspector Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University. For specific Inspector posts in Finance or Excise, additional physical standards (Height/Chest) may be required as per the recruitment rules.
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years for Open Merit candidates as of the crucial cutoff date specified in the notification.
- Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR-based Objective Type Examination.
- Document Verification (DV) of shortlisted candidates.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET) if applicable to the specific Inspector cadre.
- Final Selection List based on merit-cum-preference.
- SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/EWS/PSP: 43 years
- PHC (Physically Handicapped): 42 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 48 years
- Government Service/Contractual Employees: 40 years
