Stenographer and Typist Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Possession of a valid shorthand skill certificate is mandatory for the skill test phase.
The age limit for Stenographer Grade C is 18 to 30 years, and for Grade D, it is 18 to 27 years as of the crucial cutoff date specified in the notification.

- Medical Examination
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service
