SSC CPO Paper 1 Salary & Job Profile

The salary structure for the SSC CPO recruits is determined by the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Positions are placed under Pay Level 6. The basic pay for the Sub-Inspector post in the Delhi Police and the CAPFs ranges from Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month. For the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector in the CISF, the pay scale is Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month. In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates are entitled to various allowances as per government norms, which contribute to the final in-hand monthly salary. These allowances include House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), and others applicable to the specific region of posting.
