AIIMS Gorakhpur Junior Resident Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). A valid Medical Council Registration (State or Central) is mandatory. Candidates who have completed their compulsory rotating internship are eligible to apply.

The maximum age limit for Junior Resident (Non-Academic) is 30 years as of the crucial date specified in the official notification.

1. Screening of applications.
2. Written Examination (if the number of applicants is high).
3. Interview/Viva Voce.
4. Document Verification.
5. Medical Examination.

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
• PwBD: 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Central Government rules.
