India Post GDS Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10th standard with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects from a recognized Board. Knowledge of the local language of the respective Postal Circle is mandatory. Basic computer training course certificate of at least 60 days duration is required.
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the notification.
- Merit list generation based on 10th-grade percentage.
- Document Verification (DV) process.
- Medical Examination and Police Verification.
- Final appointment letter issuance.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- PwD + OBC: 13 years
- PwD + SC/ST: 15 years
