- Departmental Candidates (Group B posts): Up to 5 years (for those with at least 3 years of continuous service in the Govt. of NCT of Delhi in allied cadres).
- Departmental Candidates (Group C posts): Up to 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST, 43 years for OBC) for those with at least 3 years of continuous service.
