Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Life Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognized university. A Ph.D. in the relevant field is mandatory for Scientist C and above positions, along with specific years of post-doctoral research or industrial experience as prescribed in the notification.
The maximum age limit for DBT Scientist positions is typically 40 years for Scientist C, 45 years for Scientist D, and 50 years for Scientist E, calculated as of the crucial date specified in the official notification.
