Educational requirements are post-specific. Junior Technician roles typically require an ITI certificate in the relevant trade, whereas Supervisor roles usually mandate a Diploma in Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Candidates must possess certificates from government-recognized institutions.

The standard age limit for most entry-level positions is between 18 and 25 years, while supervisory roles may allow candidates up to 30 years of age. Cut-off dates for age calculation are specified within the official notification.

The selection process consists of an Online Computer-Based Test (CBT). Depending on the nature of the post, this may be followed by a Skill Test (for technical roles), Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.
