TANGEDCO Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in the relevant discipline (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE. Proficiency in Tamil is mandatory for administrative communication.
The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years for General category candidates as of the crucial date specified in the notification.
- Online/Offline Competitive Examination (Objective Type).
- Document Verification (DV) of original certificates.
- Medical Examination (Physical fitness assessment).
- SC/ST/Destitute Widows: Up to 5 years relaxation.
- BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: Up to 2 years relaxation.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.
- PwBD: Up to 10 years relaxation.
